ATTENTION VILLAGE RESIDENTS: Starting at 5pm on Thursday, January 29th, all parked cars will have to be off the street in the downtown area to make room for the heavy equipment to come in for snow removal. This includes all of N. Limestone St., S. Limestone St., W. Washington St. and E. Washington St. until all snow is removed from that area. Sorry for any inconvenience.

❄️ Winter Weather ❄️

With the heavy snow and extremely cold temperatures, we ask all residents to help by following the precautions below to assist with snow plowing and prevent plumbing issues:

  • Parking: Please park in your driveway or off-street whenever possible. This allows snowplows to clear roads effectively and helps prevent vehicles from being snowed in or damaged. Reminder: Off-street parking is mandatory whenever snowfall reaches three inches or more. No street parking is permitted until snow and ice cleanup is fully completed.
  • Prevent Frozen Pipes: Take steps to protect your plumbing by maintaining a constant indoor temperature of no lower than 55°F. Open kitchen and bathroom sink cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate, and let faucets drip—especially those connected to exposed pipes on exterior walls. We have already received multiple reports of frozen pipes, and these precautions can help prevent further issues.

Let’s work together to make snow cleanup easier and keep everyone safe and warm.
Thank you, and please stay safe!
